I am in the exact same position. I used to get all my HD channels and then over night they vanished, I retuned my TV including factory settings and disconnecting the Sky feed and retuning and managed to get them back albeit for 5 mins and then got a message saying signal is lost and that was that!
I am fortunate that I have freesat built in and having also followed the guidance on here have split the Sky + coaxial cable and this has given me the full range of channels available.
I hope for the many that have also lost the HD channels they will, one day, be found!
Sorry I can't be of any technical help to you.

I appear to have lost all of my HD Channels, which start on Channel 50+ on my Panasonic TV with built in Freeview HD.
When I retune my TV sometimes they are there and they work and then I get the message 'No Signal' and when I retune my Freeview HD TV again they have dropped off altogether.
Is there a reason for this?
My postcode is IG8 7AX - Woodford Green, Essex
Thanks.

I have lost all my Freeview HD channels. I live in IG8 7AX area.
I have a Panasonic TX-P42G20B bought in February 2011. It has built in Freeview HD and I was able to view these using my normal aerial. They existed on channel numbers starting at 50 + but now nothing exists from channel 49 -70.
Until June of this year there wasn't a problem but since then they have vanished!
I know from reading various message boards that the transmitting signal at Crystal Palace was changed.
I have done all aspects of retuning including the factory setting reset as well as the full clearance of memory and retuning again but to no avail.
I have never used Freesat as I need additional cabling to connect to my Sky dish but what cabling?
Is there a solution to receiving these again that doesn't involve spending even more vast sums with Sky to have access to something that was once free?
Your help anyone's help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Andrew
