The point of this being, that HD tuners are extremely vulnerable to high level signal swamping, whereby signals over a certain strength can overload the tuner resulting in no signal being seen.
If you are using any form of signal booster in your aerial system try by passing it.

Licic: CBS drama is now transmitted on a multiplex called COM7, this being an HD transmitter that's only receivable in areas where COM7 and COM8 are included in the multiplex line up, the most likely reason for your problem being that you do not reside in one of those areas, which of course is unknown, a post code or one from somewhere nearby, e.g: a shop/ Post Office required for checking.

Anthony Ingham: If as indications would suggest you receive Freeview from the Kilvey Hill transmitter? then unfortunately this programme channel will not be receivable in your area as CBS drama is now transmitted on the newer COM7 HD multiplex, this along with COM8 usually only available from stations covering larger areas of the population, neither COM7 nor COM8 included in Kilvey Hill's multiplex line up.

eirian: Yes, as its also broadcast on Freesat153, however, if you are thinking along the lines of Freeview then no, as its purely a satellite channel.

THOMAS : Your area is indicated as being covered by the Redruth transmitter, this unfortunately not being one of the stations fitted with additional COM7 and COM8 multiplexes, the programme number referred to having been moved to COM7, Caradon Hill that does, predicted as not being receivable in your area.

Barbara Massey: Although Sacriston is indicated as being covered by the Pontop Pike transmitter, it all depends on exactly where you reside within the area, as reception can be a bit on the "iffy" side to the North and West of the B6312 due to the area being on the verges of a dead spot for reception.
However, if you are able to receive Viva (57) or Talking pictures (81) then you are receiving COM7 the multiplex now used by CBS Drama, therefore try updating your EPG listings by carrying out a retune "after" having removed the aerial connector from your TV, this action blanking out everything stored in the tuners memory system, check by witnessing "no signal" on any attempt to select a channel, finally, reconnect the aerial and carry out a second retune to re-load the channels back into the tuner.
If though on the other hand you are unable to view 57 or 81? then your problem is either down to your TV being of the HD ready variety (i.e: unable to view BBC 101 / 102 etc) or COM7 is not being received.

TIMOTHY GAUNTLETT: If the situation regarding 101-104 remains the same and that its not been rectified by carrying out a second retune? as the signal may have glitched during the initial tuning, the fact of you having said that 106 is OK (on a much lower powered Mux) rather indicates that you are receiving a good signal, maybe even too good for your new HD sets tuner!, therefore to test if this is liable to be the case or not try carrying out a signal test on C21, the Mux transmitter channel used by 101-104.
The procedure being to select "manual tune" in the tuning menu screen followed by entering 21 into the box but pausing at this point, because on most Freeview devices if anything is being received the strength and quality of the signal will be displayed on the indicator bars, although in signal overload conditions the indications might only appear for a few seconds or so, if even that!.
Another thing to check being, if you have any external devices coupled into your TV via an HDMI lead? make sure that the TV's aerial lead is kept well clear of the HDMI lead, as the radiation from said lead can sometimes cause problems with reception, this in many cases being frequency selective.
Needless to say, if you do have an HDMI cable running close to your aerial lead, carry out a retune after having repositioned same, as it might have blocked the signal during the initial tuning
procedure.

Anthony Ingham: CBS Drama has been moved from COM6 (SD) to COM7, this latter Mux (along with COM8) being one of the newer additional Freeview HD transmitters mostly associated with main stations covering larger areas of the population, Kilvey Hill unfortunately not being one of them, it operating with the standard six multiplex line up.

john gray: The fact of you having previously viewed this programme means that your aerial is either pointing towards Sandy Heath or Crystal Palace, and not your local Luton multiplex which does not have COM6 or COM7, CBS Drama having been moved onto COM7 HD from COM6.
As far as an HD TV is concerned, if you are able to view 101/102 etc then you do indeed have a full HD receiver and not an HD ready type which is only SD. If that said applies, then the problem could be that you are not actually receiving COM7 (also unable to view Talking Pictures 81) as COM7 is much lower powered than that of COM6, i.e: Sandy COM6 170Kw / COM7 49.5Kw - Crystal Palace COM6 200Kw / COM7 43Kw.
Further advice dependant on findings.

Jim : Mux 47, if this is what you are meaning and not EPG47? is an HD transmitter only receivable on TV's or boxes fitted with DVB-T2 tuners, can you receive BBC HD on 101?
If though you can, and are meaning that you are unable to view 4seven (47) but can CBS action on (64), then carry out a retune on your TV to update the programme guide, however, if by any chance you are unable to view either of the two then you are not receiving COM6.
