D Warman: The coverage prediction for your postcode shows that you are served by the lite transmitter at Horn Street although it may be possible to get reception from Dover which does broadcast more channels, however this will be with a weaker signal and you would probably need a new aerial. There are no plans to broadcast any further services from any lite transmitters as most of them cover a relatively small number of homes so it would not provide a good return on investment for any commercial broadcasters.

Phil Draper: Sutton Coldfield only carries West Midlands news on BBC/ITV. There don't appear to be any other East Midlands transmitter available at your post code, other than Waltham. What was the reason for having your aerial realigned?

Austin: According to the DigitalUK Trade link which has appeared below your post, you're 20km away and should be able to get good reception of all multiplexes.

Front Runner TV
Sunday 2 July 2017 6:56PM

Stella Pashley: Front Runner is broadcast free to air (FTA) on satellite but isn't on Freesat, although it can be manually tuned in on most Freesat receivers. It does not require a Sky subscription and is unlikely to do so, as Front Runner's business models appears to be that the broadcaster sells airtime to the organiser/promoters of various sporting events/tournaments/series in order to provide a TV outlet for their sport/competition that it might not otherwise have.

john lightbown: Are you able to receive BBC News HD on 107? Communal aerial systems often use filters to block unwanted signals so it may be that the filtering on yours wasn't changed to allow reception of the COM7 multiplex when it launched back in 2014 - if this is the case you would need to contact whoever is responsible for managing your building and ask them to sort it out.

Wilfred Gardiner : The ITV Hub - The home of ITV would be the place to go for ITV's catchup service. Although from a quick search they don't appear to have Quantum of Solace available, probably due to ITV not holding online distribution rights for the film.

Aaron Heywood: Please provide a full postcode so we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted coverage etc. An indoor aerial is unlikely to have a problem with too much signal, as most are very inefficient and only work well in strong signal areas.

Paul Taylor : Please provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using and where you are in relation to it (the Bury St Edmonds lite relay does not broadcast Dave or Really etc). Retuning will never fix a weak signal as your TV was already correctly tuned and can easily make things worse as the retune process first deletes all of your channels then searches for them again, so if the signal is too weak retuning will cause channels to be deleted completely.

Full technical details of Freeview
Tuesday 4 July 2017 5:10PM

raymond harris: Does your new TV have a Freeview HD logo either on the TV itself or the box, manual etc? This indicates whether it has a DVB-T2 tuner, which is required to receive HD channels on Freeview (if it only says HD Ready then it doesn't have the correct tuner). If you're not sure, tell us the make and model so we can check. Please also provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using and where you are in relation to it, along with your predicted signal strength and which channels you should be able to receive.

Have you successfully connected your Amazon Fire stick to your wifi? What do you see on the screen when you select the HDMI input that you've connected the stick to? See Amazon's help page (https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=202104860) for wifi setup instructions.

Phil: Have you asked the developer building the houses about it? It would be very unusual for a transmitter to undergo changes to its coverage area due to a new housing development. Freesat would be the obvious solution and would give you far more channels than you'll ever receive from the Calne lite relay.
