Desmond Robbins: Are you watching on Freeview or satellite? Are any other channels missing or not working? Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind the TV?

Myra findlay: Why do you keep retuning? Retuning is only necessary for frequency changes (all the frequency changes required for the 700MHz clearance were completed nearly 2 years ago) or for new channel launches or when existing channels move to a different multiplex, retuning won't fix a weak signal as you are just deleting the existing tuning information and searching for the same channels again. There are no faults or engineering works listed for Durris that I can see. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Is your aerial still intact and pointing the same way as your neighbours? The recent storms and high winds may have damaged or loosened something.

Jimmy Mac: I don't know who you're trying to contact with your request, but this is an independent technical help website which isn't connected with any TV or radio station so it's unlikely that any will see your comment here. Try contact whichever station you are trying to reach via their own website.

Mr. W. Dean: The channels you mentioned are not broadcast from the Delph transmitter, so you must be picking them up as a weaker signal from another transmitter. As it sounds like something is receivable you may find that realigning your aerial to another transmitter may give you the channels you mentioned and more. If you provide a full postcode we can check what is predicted to be available and offer further advice.

Matthew Haynes: It's unlikely that you would be able to receive a radio station from the West Midlands that far away. You'd be far better off listening online via BBC Sounds (or one of the various other radio apps) on a PC/laptop, phone, tablet, smart speaker, various smart TV or set top box/smartstick devices.

Robert Fletcher: Programmes from 5USA are available on the My5 app along with the rest of Channel 5's channels.

Peter Hamlin: 30th June 2022 is the end date for the COM7 multiplex licence and the centre gap frequencies of the 700MHz band (where COM7 sits) were awarded to EE in Ofcom's 700MHz auction last year, so that is the basis of the widely held prediction of COM7 closing. There has been no announcement of the exact closure date, nor has any broadcaster announced what will happen to any of their channel on COM7. There is currently a small amount of capacity available on COM4-6 but there isn't anywhere near enough to accommodate every channel currently on COM7 and it will be more expensive as COM4-6 have greater coverage.

John Bolton: There isn't any Teletext on Freeview as Teletext services all closed before Digital Switchover (DSO) completed back in 2012. Perhaps you were looking at the BBC red button service which I understand displays news articles from the BBC News website. I haven't seen the article you are referring to so I'm not in any position to comment on accuracy. I suggest you ask whichever channel or service you were viewing, as this is an independent technical help website which has no connection with any broadcaster or news organisation.
