Below are all of StevensOnln1's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.K Carless : There are no faults reported with The Wrekin transmiter and since no one else is reporting any problem I doubt your TV has been individually targeted by any hackers. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see your predicted signal strength and where you are in relation to the transmitter etc.

Vic: You're 23km away so you may be able to get some channels on an indoor aerial but you may struggle to get the ones on COM7 & COM8 which are broadcast at a lower power level.

Catherine Lea: The Digital UK postcode checker shows several different transmitters which you could potentially be using. Was the new wideband aerial installed by a professional installer and which direction is it pointed?

Catherine Lea: Does your TV have a manual tuning function? If it does, try entering/selecting UHF channel 41 on the manual tuning screen and see what signal strength and quality readings (if any) it gives. Also, are the little rods on your aerial vertical (going up and down) or horizontal (going side to side)? The Ridge Hill transmitter is in the same direction as Malvern and is predicted to be stronger at your location, however it transmits with horizontal polarity rather than vertical used by Malvern.

Sue Curran: The engineering work related to the recent frequency changes was completed early in the morning at most affected transmitters. Engineering work of this type does not last for several days and there are no recent faults showing. So far only one group of channels have changed frequency at the Hemel Hempstead transmitter, however further changes are due to take place on 18th April. Which channels are you missing? You may need a new wideband aerial fitted, however you should be eligible to have this carried out free of charge if you don't have satellite or cable, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

Gordeen: You most likely have a Group A aerial which is no longer suitable for receiving all of the frequencies used by the Crystal Palace transmitter, following the changes which took place earlier this week. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible for a free replacement wideband aerial which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).
