ITV West is only available in SD on Freeview (the HD version is currently only available on satellite) so you will get a different region if you watch ITV HD on Freeview.

Gary : Most indoor aerials are little more than a piece of wire sticking out of an amplifier and will only give good reception if you are close to the transmitter. At 28km away you need a decent rooftop aerial (you may get away with one in the loft) for reliable reception.

JEREMY ROWE: BBC World Service is broadcast on the BBC National DAB multiplex, alongside Radios 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Live, 6 Music, etc. If you provide a full postcode we can see your predicted coverage and offer further advice.

G. Nicol: You are predicted to have a good signal for COM8 (the multiplex carrying BBC Four HD). Does your TV have a manual tuning function? If it does, try manual tuning on UHF channel 35.

Pat: There have been no changes announced for Talking Pictures on Freeview. The move you refer to is Talking Pictures moving to a new channel number on Sky and does not affect Freeview or Freesat.

Roger N: Moel-Y-Parc is a Welsh transmitter which is primarily intended to serve North Wales (although it does have large areas of overlap coverage in England). The Welsh muxes broadcast from Storeton are to provide infill coverage for areas that do not get good coverage from any other transmitter, rather than to provide an additional region. The coverage maps suggest that most of The Wirral can receive ITV Granada from either Winter Hill or Storeton, but if you provide a full postcode we can check the predicted coverage at your location.

Alan Goss: ITV3 recently moved to the PSB2 multiplex (which carries ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 etc). Make a note of any planned recordings, then unplug the aerial and retune to clear all of your stored channels, then reconnect the aerial and retune again which should restore all of your channels with fresh tuning data.

G. Nicol: There are no faults showing and the Digital UK checker predicts that you should have a good signal at your location. The most likely explanation for your problem is a fault/damage to your aerial system somewhere, so start by checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV then work your way back towards the aerial (as far as you can safely access).
