Below are all of StevensOnln1's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Jackie Webb: Sky News is on the COM5 multiplex which moved to a new frequency a couple of months ago, which is outside the range that a Group C/D aerial (which you are likely to be using for Mendip) was designed to receive. If you don't have satellite or cable you may be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

David Hill: BBC Four HD is carried on the COM8 multiplex which is not broadcast from Kilvey Hill. No plans have been announced for any increase in coverage for BBC Four HD.

Lynne Croft: Retuning was a bad idea as all you are doing is deleting your correctly tuned channels and searching for them again. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitter you're using and your predicted coverage etc.

joe jones: Al Jazeera is still broadcasting from Crystal Palace on the COM7 mux which moved to UHF channel 55 last month. If you can't restore it by manual tuning then you most likely have a Group A aerial which is not designed to receive the higher frequencies now used for COM7 & COM8. If this is the case you may be eligible to have a replacement wideband aerial fitted free of charge, which can be arranged by contacting the Freeview Advice Line (see link below).

David Morton: According to Digital UK, the Guildford transmitter now uses UHF channels 41/44/47/37/31/32 so it looks like you are picking up PSB2 from another transmitter (C26 is used for PSB2 by both Crystal Palace and Reigate). What do you get if you try manual tuning on those frequencies?

Mr B Smith: Which HD channels are you missing? Vintage TV is carried on the COM7 mux which changed frequency at Ridge Hill several weeks ago and can now be found on UHF channel 55.

Simon Cole: BBC Four HD moved to COM8 earlier this year, it certainly didn't change last week. COM8 changed frequency at Rowridge on 21st March and is now on UHF channel 56 but there haven't been any further changes since then. If you were able to receive BBC Four HD a week ago then you most likely already have a wideband aerial and you should be loose for a fault with your aerial systems (loose or damaged cables etc).
