Lesley: The Shatton Edge page has an engineering post showing that work is taking place today. They don't generally provide finish times but the transmitter will most likely be back on by the time it gets dark. Do not attempt to retune.

Allan McDonald: Probably because you're using a Freeview Lite relay which only covers a relatively small numbe of homes, so the commercial broadcasters aren't prepared to pay for their channels to be added as they won't gain enough extra viewers to be worth the cost. If you want more channels look at getting Freesat.

Grahame Alan Baker: If you're seeing 100% signal strength then it's likely that your TV's tuner is being overloaded with too much signal. Try an attenuator to reduce the signal strength (you should be aiming for 70%-85%).

Jean Reynolds: BBC Two Scotland has closed and will be replaced next week by the new BBC Scotland channel, which will be available on satellite (Sky/Freesat) across the whole of the UK, as well as on Freeview in Scotland (i.e. everyone who could previously receive BBC Two Scotland will get the new BBC Scotland channel). Viewers in Scotland now get the same version of BBC Two as those in England.

Jiummy: The new BBC Scotland channel will be carried on the PSB1 multiplex from every transmitter which currently broadcasts BBC One Scotland. A placeholder channel was added yesterday and should appear on LCN 9 (BBC Four moves to 82 in Scotland) although you may need to retune if your TV hasn't added the new channel automatically.

Charles Parker: There are no faults showing for the Oxford transmitter and you are predicted to have a strong signal (you're only 15km away). This points to there being a fault in your aerial system somewhere, so start by checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV. Do not attempt to retune.
