Linda: Spotlight is currently the only music channel on Freesat (channel 516). BBC Four and Sky Arts both broadcast archive recordings from live concerts/festivals and music documentaries at various times.

John McCallum : If you provide a full postcode we can check to see whether you might be able to receive more channels from another transmitter. The alternative is to look at getting Freesat, which gives you most of the same channels via free to air satellite (i.e. no subscription required).

Michael Perry: I'm fairly sure a Freesat account is optional and can be skipped during setup. I've never used a phone or tablet to control our Freesat box, but the app can be quite handy to set/manage recordings.

richard k greenfield: A wideband aerial (such as a log periodic type) is generally recommended, unless you are somewhere with a weak signal, where a grouped aerial may perform better. If you provide a full postcode we can check, or any reputable aerial installer should know what reception conditions are like in the local area.

David: As has been pointed out many times before, the owner of this website has been unable to keep up with the many changes that have taken place over the last few years, including hundreds of frequency changes for Freeview transmitters and the many new DAB/DAB+ stations which have launched over the last few years.
Wohnort has a much more up to date list of DAB/DAB+ stations available on each national, local and small scale multiplex:

Lorraine Smith: Nobody else is reporting any problems. Have you checked with any neighbours on the same communal system? If it isn't working for others in the building, report the problem to whoever is responsible for maintaining the communal system.

MARK SARGEANT: Because it only covers less than 5,000 homes and the commercial broadcasters don't think it is worth the cost of broadcasting from lots of transmitters with a low population coverage when they can already reach over 90% of UK households from 80-90 main transmitters (and a few relays in cities). If you want more channels and can't receive a main transmitter (if you provide a full postcode we can check) then you should look at getting Freesat.

Chris Hewson: BBC Four SD is found at LCN 173 on Freesat, it moved down the EPG to make space for BBC Scotland HD on 108. BBC Two SD is currently on 110 (in England at least) so that could easily move to a higher number to make space for BBC Three HD next year.
