dale: All of the channels on Freeview are free (as implied by the name). Freeview does not have any subscription channels.

Tommy Divers: In that case your TV most likely doesn't have a DVB-T2 tuner which is needed to receive HD channels on Freeview. The HD badge is probably indicating that the screen can display a HD picture (either HD Ready or Full HD) rather than Freeview HD (which indicates that it has the correct tuner for HD channels on Freeview). Although Talking Pictures isn't broadcast in HD, it is carried on a HD multiplex (COM7) and you therefore need a TV capable of receiving HD channels to view it. You can easily upgrade your kitchen TV with a Freeview HD set top box such as the Manhattan HD-T2 for around 40 (see link below).

Scott: For Black Hill, UHF C55 is where the COM7 HD multiplex is moving to and C56 will be COM8 (also HD) although these services are expected to close by the middle of 2020 when the 700MHz band clearance is completed. Your Group B aerial should be fine as no other frequency changes are taking place at Black Hill.

T. Purnell: I'm not sure who you think you're trying to contact, but this website is for technical help with TV and radio reception problems, has nothing to do with any broadcaster and does not sell any sort of subscription.

david: Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitters cover your location and where you are in relation to them. It may be that your TV has tuned Channel 4 +1 from a different transmitter. Also, have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV?

Martin Rosen: Various channels are moving to new LCNs on 2nd August - this is the channel number you enter on your remote rather than the frequency changes which MikeP has mentioned which are unrelated and taking place at many transmitters between now and mid 2020. The LCN changes are necessary to create more space in the entertainment section, which is almost full. See the link below for full details.

Victoria Fontaine-Wolf: Dave is joining Freesat on 2nd August. Either you're looking at next week's Radio Times or they've printed the channel number for Freesat prematurely.

David Ratclffe : Check for any loose or damaged cables behind your TV and don't retune. According to the posts above and below yours there has been a fault at Brierley Hill today, so check again and if it still isn't working check with a neighbour to see if their Freeview is working.

Niall: Radio 4 is found at channel 0104 on Sky boxes (or 0143 for LW version) although you've posted on the Radio 4 Extra page which is found at 0131 on Sky. Both versions of Radio 4 (plus Radio 4 Extra and several other BBC radio stations) are broadcast on 10.788GHz V satellite frequency from the 28E orbital position (although you should not need to tune Radio 4 manually on any Sky box).
