Digital UK's reception predictor for your location isn't good for the Arq A & Arq B muxes at this time, I can only guess that there is possibly a lot of multipath or local screening in your location (did you get much ghosting on the old analogue pictures at all?), especially as further towards Swindon on a virtually identical bearing reception is better.
I doubt that you are getting too strong a signal at your location, but if you are using a booster, try turning it down (if variable) or bypass it just in case the situation is improved. Other than that reception of the COM muxes willl continue to fluctuate until the power increase.
It is worth checking that your TV's are tuned to Oxford & not any other transmitters since power has increased. Do a full reset/new install by following the link "Freeview reset procedure" in the yellow box below, BUT instead of doing an automatic tune, do a manual one using UHF channels C53,C55,C59,C60,C62 & C57 for the HD mux.

Simon: Which version of Windows are you running?
Did you read this - Updating the DigiHome PVR80 as well as this - http://www.vestelpvr.futa….pdf ?
Both those links are on that download page.
I take it you don't have a serial port, so I hope that all helps and you are able to get it working.

Paul: If you had no problems with COM6 (Arq B) reception prior to the September changes, you shouldn't have a problem now, it just moved down channels from C67 to C52. COM5 (Arq A) however was previous transmitting in 2K mode and when it moved upto C67 it changed to 8K mode which has the effect of giving weaker reception in marginal conditions.
From what you've said, it does suggest a problem with your external aerial installation has developed.
How old is your external aerial and coax?
Is it securely mounted and could it have moved (angle wise) at all in the wind? Is the coax strapped to the pole and secured by clips etc for the drop?
If you give your postcode as well we might be able to a give some more informed comment.

Mike: Can you please give your postcode. It sounds as though you may be receiving several transmitters. (PS. The Mendip power increase for Arq A & B is March next year & Arq A will move down from C67 to C56).

Briantist: Could you please correct the listings above both in the MUX listings and in the Transmission frequencies After Wednesday 7th April 2010 sections -
COM5/Arq A is on C56 and COM6/Arq B is on C52.
The After switchover frequency notes (lower down) are correct however.

Everyone, to clarify Arq A (COM5) moved from C67 to C56 today. Arq B was and remains on C52.
Both these MUXes also had a power up as did SDN (C48).
All Muxes from Mendip are now on 100kW.
For the more technical - there have been Mode changes for Arq B and SDN. All COM muxes at Mendip are now using FEC 3/4.
In 2013 (exact date TBC) BBCA/PSB1 Mendip moves from C61 to C49. This is NOT part of DSO, but clearance of the 800Mhz band (C61 and above)for 4G Mobile services.

Colin Armstrong: I would do a complete reset and retune to be sure all old channel data is removed from your TVs.
See My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice for more detailed explanation of the procedure.
If you have/previously had problems with picking up MUXes from other Transmitters then do a Manual Tune instead of an automatic one after the reset.
For Mendip the uhf channels are C61; C54; C58 (if you have HD); C48; C56; C52.
That is MUX order PSB1; PSB2; PSB3; SDN; ArqA; ArqB.

Martin Hart:
sorry if this sounds patronising, after clearing the channels/reset with the aerial unplugged, did you remember to plug the aerial back in when doing the re-tune part.
Also check your TV/box manual - I've seen some reports from some that no buttons should be pressed for at least 20 seconds after the re-tune to allow the TV/box to correctly store the data! (Glad mine isn't like that).

Sally:
As DSO is progressing and more transmitter go onto high power, it's possible you are picking up more than one transmitter and not just Crystal Palace (hence some channels twice).
With the current High pressure weather system your reception of PSB2 - main ITV mux - (in particular) could be marginal until DSO at Crystal Palace is complete on 18th April.
A complete reset (with the aerial unplugged) as described at the top of this page and then a Manual (not automatic) tune could be the solution to the duplicate channels, but read on first.
If you try this the current C.Palace uhf channels are C25,C22,C32,C34,C29,C28. However, I'm no PVR expert but I believe I have heard that some older PVR's may lose indexing to some previously recorded programmes after a re-tune. This may have happened and a manual tune to the correct C.Palace channels may resolve this. But it may also be worth trying to identify which non-C.Palace UHF channel(s) are giving you duplicate programmes and try deleting those first, instead of retuning.
If you post back which make and model PVR you have, maybe someone knowledgeable on that PVR may be able to comment. All I can say is best of luck.

Robert: Sorry not to respond sooner, I don't have any suggestions as to why you should have problems with 1 or 2 channels on a particular mux but not other channels on the same mux, other than make sure that you've done a full reset/new install on the box.
This "static". Do you only get the spark after the flylead has been connected for a while or can you get it every time you disconnect the lead even if it's within a second or so of reconnection?
If you disconnect the box from the TV, do you still get the spark?
Can you get a spark if you touch the flylead to mains earth (the earth on a mains socket - wire a plug with a wire to the earth pin only for the test)?
Regarding the booster, yes you're very liklely to need to carry on using one - signal is not very strong (especially the COM muxes - I'll be posting further on that.).
