Whilst BBC has changed channel, and could therefore be different, C48 is the same and if comparing the before and after is different, this suggests that there has been some change.
There are others using Mendip, including Andy, who are having the same difficulty since Wednesday.

Norrie: You should be able to daisy-chain the PVR; that is, put the incoming aerial lead into the PVR and then connect the PVR aerial out to the Samsung TV. Or, of course, you may be able to use a splitter and turn off the RF passthrough on the PVR which means that the PVR no longer supplies a signal from the aerial out (because you're not using it).

ChrisE: How about your reception of COM4 (ITV3 etc) on C48?
Some others who have poor or no BBC reception now have poor or no COM4 reception, when they did before.

Peter: You are yet another person reporting issues with PSB1 (BBC) and COM4 (SDN).
Was SDN fine before the change?
Bizman: If you are right, then I wonder could the issue be being exacerbated by the two channels being adjacent?

Sue B: This website is "independent" of broadcasters, as it states in the titlebar of every page.
The message at the top does NOT say that there are no faults; it says that there are no REPORTED faults. This is still the case.
If you are receiving Spotlight then you cannot be tuned to Mendip, for BBC One, at least. You are probably tuned to Stockland Hill on C26. Unplug your aerial for the first 50% of the scan and it should miss out scanning of Stockland's channels.

Frank: The UK now has a two-tier terrestrial television transmitter network. The Commercial broadcasters stick to the most lucrative transmitters:

It's very doubtful you will be able to receive from Winter Hill. As far as reception from that station goes, in your area, because you are behind a hill, whether it can or can't be picked up might vary over a short distance.
If Winter Hill isn't an option then there are no others with regards getting the full complement of channels.
Freesat may be your best bet to expand you choice of viewing.

Frank: If you have a quad-LNB then you can get them with more ports on; search the internet. Swapping the LNB shouldn't require realignment of the dish (providing that it isn't loose).
As far as the dish goes, Freesat and Sky are 100% the same, so Sky in one or more rooms and Freesat in one or more others will work.
You may be able to get a cheap Freesat box. A quick search of the internet suggests that they start at around £35.
This assumes that there isn't a clause in your Sky contract which forbids this, or perhaps voids a warranty. I'm not familiar with these things, so maybe best to check.

I guess that you may be trying for Kilvey Hill, which is all Group A and carries COMs. If the vertical aerials are pointing to it, then I can't work out where the horizontal ones are pointing.
Wolfbane gives an idea of directions of transmitters:

I'm not sure how accurate the terrain data is as well as that of how the transmitters radiate signals, so it is worth bearing in mind that it is a guide with likely limitations.
The horizontals could perhaps be Carmel; it's difficult to say from the photos.
