Sam Coombes: It's a picturesque part of the world you live in. However, based on predictions, it doesn't look good for TV reception. That said, predictors are in no way perfect and in locations such as yours, what can and what can't be picked up can vary over a short distance.

It may be worth consulting with an aerial installer with a view to either using a different transmitter, or a different aerial that may pull in the COMs.

I looked on Streetview and spotted aerials pointing roughly west, some vertical and some horizontal, the latter being slightly clockwise of the former. I can't work out where they are pointing, but where ever it is, you may be lucky to get the COMs.

I can't suggest any services that will stream TV over the internet. Maybe others on here can, or maybe look-up other forums that specialise in internet/broadband services.

Again thanks dave for your help I am going to invest in a xb16a aerial and looking up and down the street the only other aerial that resembles such is a few doors up and they don't seem to have any reception issues so I think I'll give it a whirl and fingers crossed it may resolve it thanks again for your support

Sam Coombes: Checking with others is a good idea. Good luck!

I guess that you may be trying for Kilvey Hill, which is all Group A and carries COMs. If the vertical aerials are pointing to it, then I can't work out where the horizontal ones are pointing.

Wolfbane gives an idea of directions of transmitters:

UK digital TV reception predictor

I'm not sure how accurate the terrain data is as well as that of how the transmitters radiate signals, so it is worth bearing in mind that it is a guide with likely limitations.

The horizontals could perhaps be Carmel; it's difficult to say from the photos.
