Brennig: The high ground means that you may not have line-of-sight, owing perhaps to objects on the ground. Also, that high ground appears to be in your first Fresnel zone (see the terrain plot and look-up Fresnel Zone).
Different frequencies get refracted to differing degrees due to travelling through objects, hence not all channels are received at exactly the same level even though they are being radiated from the same point.

john Broadhurst: You're no doubt wondering why you may not be able to receive all the channels, or at least not with a different aerial on a different transmitter. See here for an explanation:

Bob Sharp: Are you sure that these channels are from Hannington? Bring up the signal strength screen and see if it's tuned to UHF channel 42 (642MHz).

Jeb Scrafton: Try having the aerial lead out for the first 30% of the scan (or up to scanning of UHF channel 30 if it gives channel numbers) so it doesn't 'see' the Bilsdale Public Service (PSB) channels, which carry regional programmes.
Once you've done this, bring up the signal strength screen on BBC One and it should say it is tuned to UHF channel 47 for Emley Moor. Do likewise for ITV and it should be tuned to C44.
The only thing to be aware of is that Bilsdale's Commercial (COM) channels are in the 40s and therefore interleaved with the wanted channels of Emley Moor. For that reason check that they are tuned to Emley and not Bilsdale.

FMB: Contrary to your belief, living does not guarantee you will receive ITV3 via an indoor aerial, or an outdoor aerial for that matter.
Knowledge of your location, preferably in the form of postcode is required for such queries, this being for the purpose of checking on transmitters that are predicted to serve you.
The obvious thing in the situation you find yourself in is to bring up the manual tune screen, enter or select the UHF channel of ITV3 from your transmitter, but don't select the button to scan the channel, as TVs usually operate as signal meters in this situation. That way, you can move your aerial whilst observing the strength and quality on that channel. Once you find a good spot then scan the channel.

Steven Huntington: Seeing as it's a wideband aerial, can you turn it, or have it turned, to face Pontop Pike instead?

Algy: Icomb Hill uses different channels to Oxford and therefore couldn't possibly be the issue.
