mr k fisher: Assuming that your aerial points to Divis then bring up the signal strength screen and check that it is tuned to Divis and not the Bangor relay.
Divis broadcasts those services on C21 and Bangor is on C50. If it turns out to be tuned to the latter then run the automatic tuning scan and unplug the aerial when it gets to 30%. Once the scan completes plug the aerial back in. Then check that it is tuned to Divis for UTV.

Susie Kilby: No. The only way to get all the Freeview channels is "if" she can receive them from Stockland Hill.
Presumably the so-called aerial "upgrade" was to replace the aerial pointing to Exeter St Thomas with one pointing to Stockland Hill, whose reception "might" be possible at that location. Unfortunately there are others in locations where reception from a full-service transmitter is not possible at all and so they don't have this option.

Brenda Crossley: No. The North West multiplex closed because the licence came to the end of its term and the operator didn't wish to renew.

Robbie: You can't!
BBC Local Radio is not, and is not ever likely to be, available on Freeview.

Claire: If it hasn't been changed to vertical then have it done.
Rowridge broadcasts horizontally and vertically, with the Commercial (COM) channels being on lower power horizontally.

Aaron : Because your expectation is too great.
The Strabane transmitter broadcasts all Public Service channels, as do all other 1,000+ transmitters.
The Licence Fee goes to the BBC and, as a Public Service Broadcaster, you have the BBC.
The Commercial channels broadcast where they wish to invest in the kit to do so. They have no obligation to provide a service, only turn a profit, which is why they don't bother with the transmitters that will give them relatively few viewers.

Alan Smith: No, there are never likely to be more channels broadcast from Darwen transmitter, and over 1,000 other Public Service-only transmitting stations. See here for an explanation:
Londonderry (Northern Ireland) Freeview Light transmitter | ukfree.tv - 11 years of independent, free digital TV advice
Judging by the Digital UK predictor you are not in a position to receive directly from Winter Hill, and therefore pick up the full complement of channels.
Recently Film4 became available from Public Service (PSB) relays, but this was because capacity became available on an existing multiplex, so there isn't likely to be any more new services.
The only advice I can offer is to look at free-to-air satellite such as Freesat.
