The last time I asked Toyota this the upgrade was over £1,000.
I enquired in Halfords about fitting DAB car radio and they said they couldn't do it in the Toyota model I owned (something about leads/sockets)
They didn't stock the Pure Highway 300di any more but said they could fit one for me if I bought it else where.
What a hassle.

The problem with DRM was lack of receivers Anthony. The tests went on for quite a number of years yet, very few people could actually receive them, which was a great pity..
DRM seems to be pretty much dead now, sadly.

I assume UK radio stations can be received via the internet throughout Europe so an internet radio would solve that part of the problem ?
What about live UK TV streams ? Are they also available outside the UK ?
I suppose the only other alternative is to use something like the slingbox.

Brian: It's now the 289th February and NVTV has not appeared on Channel 8 from Divis on the 274th February. .
Not sure if there's a revised start date for the channel

Haven't heard that one KMJ. September 2013 was supposed to be the original start date, and Thursday was widely publicised as the revised one.
Disappointed it didn't appear but not really surprised. Can't say I'm optimistic about September 2014 either, given the nature of these things.
Indeed Kieran, I could receive it over at my parent's house in East Belfast but no sign of it on analogue at this location. Channel 33 is mostly receivable but it does break up on occasions.
From what I saw, the programmes on NVTV were actually quite good and much better than their radio station when it was on air a few years back.

This problem is quite possibly due to signal overload. At that location a16.5 db outside aerial is quite simply overkill (literally only a half a mile away from the transmitter)
I'd suggest P uses a smaller aerial. Any amplifiers in place should definitely be removed.

Sharon: To retune your TV first select menu from the remote control. Tuning options will either be under settings, set up, or installation. Look for something that says either auto tune or update channels. You may also come across a section that says tuning menu. Some TVs also have the tuning menu under a section labelled "channels".
You should consult the instruction manual if you have it handy. Alternatively, if you Google the make and model number these should be available online.
