Michael SIMS: There is a version of "Dolby" that will be used on many US TV shows that drives a 5.1 system from the stereo, called "Dolby Surround".
This system has no "carrier" and you will have to press a button on your amplifier to use it.
This differs from the "real" 5.1 systems "Dolby Digital" you find on Freesat.

Jon Pearne: You didn't provide an address so I can't be sure.
You must be in a region that has "switched over" or has a "pre switchover HD service" which is basically Crystal Palace and Pontop Pike now.
