Chris: Given that the current weather conditions are heavy rain, this will effect satellite reception. This may be the case for anywhere between minutes and hours.

Wilfie Morrison: No, a rooftop aerial is required for reliable reception, and you will not get all services until switchover, 24th October 2012.

Tom: No, just retune. The services were turned off during the night (and will again tonight) for testing of the new equipment. My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice should restore.

David Lloyd: Freesat only as the channels that are free-to-air, so only sport on these channels can be watched.
