Naomi: You would already have needed a wideband aerial to receive the broadcast of multiplex 2.

You should use a rooftop aerial, not a loft one, for reliable Freeview reception.

Jonny: Yes, satellite grade cable. Yes, you can plaster it in. Yes, use a star configuration from a single booster located as close to the aerial.

keith: Looks like everyone is using long poles to get a decent signal from Google Streetview.

You won't get a signal from Brierley Hill, if you can't get Sutton Coldfield then Bromsgrove is OK, but you will have to wait until 28 September 2011 for the commercial multiplex, The Wrekin will give a good signal from the same date.

Stuart O.: The normal arrangement is that a relay transmitter will carry the "normal" service for the area, but sometimes you used to get different BBC and ITV regions. These have all been synchronised at switchover.

The "Spare RF" show the best three RF channels, it does calculate the lot, but it shows the three that are furthest from any occupied slots.

You can't receive C34 from Lichfield, so there isn't a problem there.
