Mike Dimmick: True, that was an exception in the strictest sense.
I think that the "31 December 2012" date is there for legal purposes, I don't know if Ofcom will go to the trouble of changing the documentation now to reflect the correct date.
Yes, I agree, Black Mountain will continue with analogue C5 until DSO2 in Northern Ireland so the channel can provide a contiguous service for the viewers.

mike Roberts : They are all at the same strength in terms of ERP, but the radiation patterns may not be identical.
However, I don't actually know or not, because the information was redacted as a "state secret" when I asked the BBC for the information.
You may also have interference from other transmitters on the same frequencies.

jas: Is there only one device - the magic eye - on the RF2 connection of the Sky box? I presume this is the case if the red LED is showing on the device.

Steve J: From above "The commercial multiplexes at Sandy Heath will remain on their pre-switchover channels and powers for a period after digital switchover. SDN will then temporarily move to channel 31 (at 20kW ERP) on 31 Aug 2011, before adopting its final allocation of channel 51 on 18th April 2012. Arqiva A will adopt its final allocation of channel 52 on 23 Nov 2011. Arqiva B will temporarily move to channel 67 (at 20kW ERP) at switchover and then it will adopt its final allocation of channel 48 on 14 Sept 2011."
