Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Naish Hill (Wiltshire, England) mast?
UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

what is DAB signal error ? I have very good signal strength but also fairly high signal error of +10 or more on radio `4 extra`&`planet rock`etc, also after auto scan 30+ stations are listed, but, only a few, <10 can be be listened to. Im using an attic aerial ( omni directional ) with a `Roberts 83i stream` reciever.my post code SN9 6AF

Is there a problem with BBC radio transmissions this morning? I have two dab radios and both have failed to pick up Radio 4 or 3.
Cheers, David

I am having problems in SN5 listiening to BBC Radio 4 today (4th Sept 2014). It was fine yesterday. Saw a post somewhere saying Vodafone were having technical issues but why this would affect DAB signal I don't know. I hope the change isn't permanent brought about by the changes made to the Freeview channels yesterday!

I had been reading some of the comments about DAB in the past but I have not had any occasion to make comments myself until now. I have a DAB radio in my car and at home,(Chippenham Wiltshire, Aerial Naish Hill.)
Up until now the signal in my car disappeared IN most of Chippenham town. At home, I could get about 5 or 6 stations. Now for some reason (signal boosted I suppose), I have no fade in town and when I retuned my radio at home I found 47 stations. The radio I have at home is a Pure One Flow. So I wonder if someone had made a complaint!

No one has complained but the operators are in the process of making improvements and adjustments to several DAB transmitters, Naish Hill being one of them.
