Paul Bertenshaw: 21 September 2011. The picture quality will be 100% the same whatever transmitter you use.

You will need to use an HDMI cable, but one will usually come with a Freeview HD box. You can get them for about £3 there isn't one in the box.

A larger aerial will make interference from two-stroke engines worse. You need to mount the aerial up higher, and use satellite-grade coax cable.

You may be able to sort the problem out by using high quality "fly leads".

H Yates: Did you do a "first time installation"? As long as you have a rooftop aerial then you will now receive all of the Freeview channels from the Belmont transmitter.

Jane : Please remove the booster. You will probably be unable to receive the channels on the Arqiva A and Arqiva B multiplexes until 23rd November 2011.

Jan: No card is required to watch Sky's fSfS service, unless you want to watch PICK TV, 5* and 5USA. The rest of the channels can be watched simply by connecting the box up.

Aerial in loft, did do first installation, retuned again today, yesterday 61 DTV channels and 31 radio today 71 DTV and 34 radio, still cannot get some channels!
Also retuned relatives TV quarter of a mile away from me with same set up 94 DTV channels and 63 radio. Would an amplifier help? no trees or buildings in the way as I live in the middle of a field.
