If you have several TVs at home do you need separate decoders for each set or is
If you want to watch different programmes on different TVs, you need a decoder for each.
With satellite, you will also need a "Quad LNB" on the dish, as each satellite decoder requires a separate "LNB" connection for each.
For digital cable and Freeview, the incoming cable can be split and shared.
There are a few options (such as the Pace Twin PVR) that can be used as a decoder for a second room, using only a standard connection for the second TV.
If you simply want to be able to watch the same programme in a second room, this can be done using a standard TV "UHF" cable.

I currently have a sky digibox. As well as watching the selected channel via scart on my main TV, I can view the same channel on other TV's in the house via the RF output. I'm thinking of getting Sky HD+ and noticed it has two RF outputs. Does this mean that as well as watching a selected channel via hdmi I can still connect other TV's via the two RF outputs.
If so, can these two RF outputs show two different selected programmes.
Can the recorded content on the Sky HD+ box, when being played back, be viewed through the RF outputs as well, or is this only available through the hdmi cable.
Thanks
David

David Campbell: The RF outputs are the same, they show the currently playing channel - that on the SCART and HDMI - as a single analogue, mono RF modulated UHF channel.

I have had a Sky box and a second TV connected to watch the same channel in another room. Have now dumped Sky and bought A Humax Freesat recorder. Can I still connect the second Tv and if so how?

Martin West: You can connect your second TV directly to the dish, you just need a satellite-grade cable to a spare output on the dish and another Freesat box, which start at £30. This will allow you to watch any channel on the other TV.
