How do I change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox?
Brian Butterworth published on UK Free TV Press the [SERVICES] button and then press [4] [0] [1] then [SELECT]
Then press [4] to go to the RF output menu.
You can now change the value so that it does not clash with an analogue TV channel or a Freeview multiplex.
HD and "new EPG" boxes
If you have a HD box, press [SERVICES] button and then press [0] [0] [1] then [SELECT]. Nothing is shown on the TV screen until you press the Select button.Then use the [RIGHT] arrow button on the remote until this screen is shown, and press SELECT to change the values:

jonny p: Whether it would or not is really totally dependant on your location and the Freeview multiplex transmitters that covers the area, if you can provide your post code (or one of a shop in the area) then this will enable all the multiplex channels used to be checked on and with further advice being given depending on whats seen.

Jonny P: The problem is that analogue channel 6 on your TV is only a channel number that has been allocated on "your particular TV" for the Sky box, and which only represents another actual transmitter channel, this being something which only you can check on by looking in the Sky boxes RF output menu to see the number that's been entered.
However even although you would probably be OK if you just left things as they are, on looking at the various Freeview channels that can possibly affect you I think that its best policy that you do check on the number entered for the Sky boxes RF1/2 output as there are quite a number of different channel numbers that should be avoided, and its simpler all round if you can let me know the number entered in the Sky box as I can then cross check this with 12 Freeview channels to be avoided.
You may already know, but the see the number referred to on the Sky boxes remote press Services - then "4 - 0 - 1 - select" in a smooth continuous operation, then select box No4 and its the number entered there that's of interest.

andy: When you say its still not working, are you referring to trying to not being able to get a magic eye working on TV located in a different room, or alternatively is it one involving the reception of Sky via an RF2 link.
If though a magic eye does not come into the equation then you should really be using RF1 on the Sky box, but further advice can only be given on clarification of the two possibilities mentioned.
The other point being, that if you are also feeding a Freeview signal through the Sky boxes normal aerial socket for purposes of viewing either Freeview or Sky in the other room then you will have to provide your location, (pref: post code) this is to make sure that the Sky box doesnt clash with any of the Freeview signals.
This said applying only if you have a dual standard TV, that meaning analogue (for Sky) and DVB for Freeview.

Hi..I have just bought a magic eye and when i 1st set it up in the bedroom it was all working fine and dandy the eset(i just done a quick set up to see if it worked)I have now drilled and ran all my wires and i canot change the channel upsatairs any more..I have reset the sky rf outlets as it says but still no channel hopping...Any help would be wonderful thanks

Simon Gillett: If it was working OK before and all you have done is to alter (but not extend) your cabling, then the problem could possibly be caused if you have bunched that particular co-ax lead along with any other cables going through an access hole etc, as to be quite honest about it these devices in most instances just work and no more at the best of times, as they are not only very sensitive to the type of co-ax being used but also the length of.
Another thing that can cause them not to operate correctly is if the eye is positioned too close to the TV, as most TV's radiate interference in their immediate vicinity and that is picked up in the eye.

Soz havent replied been away..Moved the sensor but still nothing am beginning to think i have a dodgy lead reading comments on other sites.I have not extended or added any other cable just ran it along my ceiling

Hi there
Our sky plus hd box recently broke and instead of paying for the sky engineer we got my brothers white sky plus box. This has worked fine but our we are now not getting any picture on our magic eye in the bedroom . I have connected to rf2 as before and have gone into menu 4 0 1 select to.ensure the rf outlet power is on but still nothing . Hoping you might have a solution

I have Sky+ HD box on the main TV in the lounge. From the RF2 output on the Sky+HD box via a splitter/booster in the loft I direct that to 4 other TVs around the house where it (Sky) is tuned into an Analogue channel.
These 4 TVs are all switchable between Analogue & Digital.
However as of 3 days ago i lost all my freeview channels and cannot get a signal on any of the other TVs apart from the TV in the lounge where the freeview signal is good
I did manage to get a couple of analogue channels on the other tvs channel 4 and ch68 for sky but the picture is fuzzy
I am at a lost to undestand what has happended. Could the amplifier splitter be faulty any advice would be much appreciated
