I am missing a transmission multiplex?
If you are missing a single multiplex on a single frequency, it may be that you have a local source of interference - such as a VCR, games console or Sky Digibox - causing the problem rather than a poor signal from the aerial.
Try eliminating any such devices, and if one does appear to cause the problem, change it's RF output channel to a new value.

Hi, I'm trying to sort my mum's TV... She is based in Felbridge and cannot get PSB2 on the lounge TV, but can in the kitchen. Previously she has had ITV etc, it has just disappeared. It's a Sony Bravia TV, she doesn't have sky etc. ive re-tuned, unplugged Arial etc... When we put a different TV onto the aerial we can pick up ITV, Channel 4 etc.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Jo: If the kitchen TV can still receive PSB2 when connected into the lounge TV's aerial socket, then carry out a manufacturers reset on the Sony Bravia in order to correct the glitch in the tuners memory, this procedure also known as "default setting" or "first time installation".

Hi
I am having trouble receiving certain channels on my Sony Bravia TV. I've done multiple channel scans and sometimes I get 100 plus channels but mostly get about 58. I have investigated and believe it is certain multiplex's that I cannot get. Of the BBC channels i can presently get BBC 4 HD and BBC News but not BBC 1, 2 etc. I have done a factory reset on the TV. I've checked that the transmitter ( Sutton Coldfield) is working correctly and it is. My cable from the TV to the wall socket is gold tipped and only about 3 years old.
I've also switched the TV off, unplugged it and taken out the cable and then done a scan without the aerial cable plugged in, then tried again with it plugged in ?.......HELP :-)
