We get tv from the Malvern Worcestershire transmitter.
Channel 55 is very poor with lots of breakup. However channel 53 carrying the BBC is perfect. Why should this be?

Any chance of showing 'The Glen Miller Story' starring James Stuart?
Great film, and will make a change from 'The devil wears prada' or the other "3" movies you keep showing over and over and over and over etc. on Film 4.
Thank you.

I live in the NP25 area, and I think my aerial is pointed towards Cardiff. The aerial is horizontal.
Ever since we had to retune our TVs last month, we've not been able to get Film4 or Al Jazeera. I have 2 digital TVs & a hard driver recorder, each with built-in tuners, and I can't get these channels on any of them despite having tried the auto retune many times.
Could someone please advise me as to what I should do next.

Ann Khaneka: Try a manual tune of UHF channel 39 which is what the missing services are carried on.
Having selected or entered 39, before pressing the button to scan, see if it gives an indication of strength and quality.
Do you have a second aerial which points in the opposite direction and which is connected to the aerial pointing towards Cardiff?

Ann Khaneka: DUK do not make a prediction for reception of the COM muxes from Wenvoe at your location. This is likely to be because interference is anticipated from another transmitter that shares the same frequencies. If you are able to receive ITV3 and Sky News without problems it is because the level of interference is less than anticipated on those frequencies. However as C39 is affected, (and presumably C49 was not), the propogation of the interfering signal on C39 is better than on the other frequencies. Sometimes repositioning an aerial can find a null for an unwanted signal, however it may be that at least for the present ArqB is no longer available from Wenvoe.

Lost Film 4 after april 17th retune: Angus DD8 scotland, from both the Panasonics TV in built tuner and humax youview box.
I was actually watching Film 4 when it went of air with signal to week message, retuned TV and humax and it was gone. I had something like 116 channels before retune now have 88!?. New ariel installed about 4 months ago due to reception breakup and had great reception prior to this retune.
whats happened?

Terry Noakes: BBCA and ArqB muxes changed their frequency on the Angus transmitter overnight, so you'll need to retune/reset box to get the channels back.

Hi Micheal,
thanks for reply, I have retuned both TV and Humax box, in fact I retuned humax youview twice, and as I previously said after retune I now have 88 channels instead of approx 116 including the loss of Film 4.
thanks

Terry Noakes: Try menu > setup > shipping conditions for the Panasonic, and menu > installation > default setting for the Humax?
What happens if you do a manual retune for channel 49 or 60?
Obviously the reason you're not getting 116 channels is because your equipment isn't picking up the new frequencies.
