Peter T: You didn't say which transmitter you were referring to, so I assumed Plympton based on the previous post which you replied to. The same goes for the Storeton transmitter, which is shown as the most likely transmitter for your postcode. If you are currently receiving Storeton then you would need your aerial realigned (or replaced if it isn't a wideband type) to point to either Winter Hill or Moel y Parc.

The changes made at Rowridge a few months ago meant that you need to have a wideband aerial fitted. Then you may be able to receive all the available channels. To check that we need a full post code so we can see the predicted reception at your location.

why do freesports not always air the programe as shown on their tv guide this is very annoying!!!! I turn on the tv to watch one of my favourite sports ie nhl, nascar, bull riding, to find it has been changed for horrible football, WHY? is there not enough football on freesports anyway? why take off what few programes we can watch?????? I very much look forward to receiving a meaningfull reply!

Regarding Freesports, can anyone tell me what channel it is shown on Free-sat, if at all, we don't have a TV aerial and living remotely our broadband is hit and miss or is this another technology jump that rural people are excluded from?

Freesports LCN64 is on the COM8 multiplex. COMs 7&8 are temporary muxes and have become SFNs (Single Frequency Networks) using the same UHF channels 55 & 56 around the country where available (some transmitters have lost them altogether). It's possible that as other transmitters change these muxes, that some areas will lose reception or it becomes more marginal due to interference with each other. The current weather conditions may not be helping either.
Put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker and it will show you the predicted reception that you might get. HTH.

My Freesat has lost Freesports (11426/27500) since the start of August. Can anyone tell me if it has left Freesat?
