Thanks Briantist. Single frequency interference was the problem. Unplugged the PS3, re-scanned for the channels and my TV found the missing channels. Thanks for your help.

Ok so ages ago i had no problems. Now i get no ITV4 which for me is life or death. If i do a full on First Time Installation I then re-get ITV4....until i switch freeview box off then next time i switch it on again..no more ITV4. The other day i needed to record something so did First Time Installation again and got ITV4, set up to record and left everything on but whilst i was away somehow ITV4 vanished and the freeview box defaulted to bbc1. No body was around to change the channel whilst i was away. Idea Please?

Paul: Sounds like a fault with your Freeview box. Can you try another one?

Paul: Check that the box is not on the list of Split NIT equipment - http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/splitnit . Otherwise, check the manufacturer's website to see if there are any software/firmware updates available. (RG47SH)

On the Pontypool relay, earlier this week ITV4 stopped working. Infact Film4 and all the other chans on the 530MHz freq have gone too. All I get is a black screen with the names of the programs on the chan info pannel. The info updates etc but I never get pic nor sound. Tried a retune on 3 totally different boxes and same problem. It's only the 530MHz mux that is the problem, all others are fine. Any ideas?

Adrian: Ridge Hill BBC A has started at high power on C28, 530 MHz. Digital UK's prediction for your reception from Pontypool is shown as poor on SDN, ArqA and ArqB, and non-existent on BBC A, D3&4 and BBC B.

On the 20th, you're likely to lose SDN and ArqA if you do have them now, because the other public service broadcaster multiplexes at Ridge Hill will go to full power.

You might be getting some assistance from Mynnydd Machen on the PSB channels (same frequencies as Pontypool, acting as a Single Frequency Network).

Digital UK's predictor shows Mendip as your best option for all six multiplexes - excellent chance of reliable reception. Wenvoe is variable for PSBs and poor for commercial multiplexes.

If you want the Welsh services, including S4C, you may need a combination of aerials, or consider Freesat.

To all. Thanks for all responses and many apologies for my late reply. After some tinkering and moving/swapping boxes between tv's and rooms I have to Agree with Briantist in that it's for sure the box Thats had it as its repeating problem when hooked up input. tv's in all locations whereas all other boxes work find everywhere. Again many many thanks for all your input.
