Veronica Steffen: Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and what your predicted signal strength should be. Without knowing that we can only offer general advice such as checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections.

I'm running off Crystal Palace transmitter in West London. Since retuning Samsung tv have lost bbc4 hd,bbcnewshd, algercira and probably others . Those running off new channels 55 and 56. Have been through reset, retune, cleaned out old channels and retuned about 4 Times. Still can't get them. London live has turned up. My main Panasonic tv has not been retuned but has kept those had channels but lost London Live.. what a mess. Why has the. government allowed this. I've read I need a new aerial. That costs ?100s.

Hi if its any help, I think only certain Samsung Tv's are affected, those being the high end one's ie QLED,
I have the same problem as you. I live in South London Crystal Palace transmitter. I have other tv's in the house, LG, Sony, Panasonic, all retuned successfully.
I went to my local Samsung dealer this morning the QLED in the shop wasn't able to receive the channels after a retune, but one from the MU7000 range was. Contacted Samsung support this morning who are based in the Phippines, useless! Hold fire on the new aerial I doubt you'll need it, hope this helps!

I am also unable to tune to Channels 55 & 56 (Com7 & 8) from Crystal Palace using a Humax HD FOX T2 STB. Have also lost London live since resetting back to factory defaults.

Fred Dibnah:

Your aerial is probab;y a Group A type as was used for Crystal Palace for some years. It now needs replacing with a wideband type to get the remaining channels. You may qualify for a free replacement, see Important changes to Freeview TV signals | Freeview

What happened this evening to the film "A Month in the Country"?

It started at 8pm, not 7pm as listed in the Radio Times, then stopped abruptly at 9pm, when the schedule as listed resumed.

When can we see the second half? The Radio Times does not mention it again.

Be grateful for info

Christian Bailey:

This is not the website for London Live, Play You would better ask them your question.

This website is independent of all broadcasters and is aimed primarily at assisting viewers/listeners having reception problems.
