Bill Harrington: Yes, although it and the other Commercial channels are on low power from Sudbury until 27th June when a retune will be required.
If there is a manual tune option, try it. ArqA which includes Pick TV and Sky News is on C54 up until 27th June.

Since the digital switchover I have trouble getting Sky News on my Phillips tv set with built-in Freeview. I do a complete re-installation and the Skynews is there. If I change channels I can come back to it. But if I switch the set off, then turn back on, Skynews (plus the other channels with which it is bundled) are missing. Any ideas please?

Gerard Hunt: There are two possibilities. Either there is stale information stored in the TV's permanent channel memory, and it's not overwriting this when you retune, or it just doesn't have enough permanent memory for all the channels.
Do a 'first time installation'/'factory reset' (can also be called full reset, full retune, default setting, virgin mode, and it might be on the software update or settings menu rather than the tuning menu) to clear out the entire channel list and retune from scratch.
If you still have the problem, it's probably the second situation. For TVs with limited memory, one approach is to manually tune the multiplex with the most unwanted services, then delete the services you don't want. Repeat with the next largest multiplex, and so on.
There are specific guides for (at least some) Philips equipment at TV Re-tune productmanuals

MIKE DIMMICK: Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my posting of June 27, and apologies for delay in replying. You offered two possible solutions to my problem. I tried the first (factory re-set) without success. I'd like to try your second suggestion, but not sure how to go about it. When I do the re-install, it tells me I can get 115 channels. How do I know which are together as a multiplex? Then how do I tune to that multiplex manually and delete it? Thanks for any further help you can give. What keeps beating me is that I can get Sky news when I re-tune, and I can switch from channel to channel, and then back to Sky news without losing it. But if I switch the tv set off, it will not come up when I switch back on. How frustrating is that?? All the best, Gerard.
