This is an independent help site for people with reception problems. it has nothing to do with Virgin or any direct connection to Freeview.

Why is teletext on Freeview putting out lies and mis-information ?... they have said today that Russian ships have been sent away from the Milford haven port, which is lies... according to the head of the port of Milford haven authority, ships are continuing to come into Milford haven and there is one in there today and another coming in on Friday... this is further confirmed by wales on line - so why tell lies ???...

John Bolton: There isn't any Teletext on Freeview as Teletext services all closed before Digital Switchover (DSO) completed back in 2012. Perhaps you were looking at the BBC red button service which I understand displays news articles from the BBC News website. I haven't seen the article you are referring to so I'm not in any position to comment on accuracy. I suggest you ask whichever channel or service you were viewing, as this is an independent technical help website which has no connection with any broadcaster or news organisation.

John Bolton:

This is NOT the BBC's website. The BBC are responsible for the pages of news that your read on Red Button or Text. You need to contact the BBC if the information being posted is wrong.
As an aside, typing in all capitals is considered shouting, please don't do so, it's not needed.
(Update: From what I've just read there is an explanation about a ship being turned away that is now going to be docking, maybe what your read hadn't been fully updated but as explained it's the BBC you need to contact if you feel the report isn't accurate).

I was not happy about the result of Eurovision. Who should I speak to about this?

I'm really not sure how you'd speak to all the members of the public in Europe, UK and some worldwide who voted.
If there was a specific aspect which may be an issue, that could be different matter.
