The NOW broadcaster swapping it's NOW 70s/80s/90s channels about is not unheard of and they've done it a few times recently. Since the 28th April, NOW 70s is on Freeview LCN76 and has moved to the COM7 multiplex on UHF Channel 55. You may/may not be able to receive it in your location (we'd need a full postcode to check).
As mentioned by Irn-Bru Kid, Now 80s is currently only on a Manchester (G-MAN) multiplex (as is NOW 90s).
NOW 70s is also on Channelbox Freeview LCN271 but it's a streamed channel over your broadband. You mentioned your provider TalkTalk, if you are using a YouView box, I'm not sure if that service is compatible.

I've left Sky TV/broadband - too expensive....but thoroughly enjoyed Now 70/80s...now I'm freeview/BT, the channels have disappeared.
I have a great signal - no break up/pixelation but Chanel 76 is unavailable.
Why is Now 80s only broadcast in Manchester? I'm desperate for my nostalgia!!
Now channels are the best thing to listen/watch at the mo......
Any ideas/help will be gratefully received!

Paulette Grosvenor: The broadcaster has chosen to only broadcast Now 80s on the Manchester multiplex, presumably at low cost in order to keep the channel number. If you still have your Sky box, plug it back in and you will still get all of the free to air channels, including Now 80s.

Well you should be able to receive it in the Swinton area, it's moved to the G-MAN (aka GIM) multiplex on UHF channel C27. Try a MANUAL tune on that UHF channel.
Ate you getting the Manchester "Local" multiplex L-MAN on UHF C24 with channels on LCNs 7, 50, 52, 61 & 68 ?
Do you have any problems with the BBC SD channels 1, 2, 9, 23, 201, 202, 231, 232 & Red button on 250?
How old is you aerial? Did you have any receptions problems when the last major changes took place in April and August 2020?
