Hi I receive my freeview signal via Churchdown Hill at present.
Do'es it mean I will need to turn my aerial to Ridge Hill to get freeview after April?

Phill: You don't get Freeview from Churchdown Hill, this transmitter only provides analogue Channel 5.
If you have Freeview now, you will have Freeview after switchover. I would think you are using the Ridge Hill transmitter.

my reception has been terrible since the end of August, I have checked for 4g work and transmitter interference and the only thing that has changed has been the closure of churchdown transmitter! I have to say my internet has suffered a lot of interference as well though so maybe a new source?

colin: The internet and your TV signal have nothing to do with each other. We need a postcode to check your transmitter, signal path etc. However, if your signal has become much weaker, make sure your tuned to the proper transmitter (something that now seems to be a plague), since in your case you really should be using Ridge Hill anyway.
Secondly, check your system. Is there a loose connection, frayed wire, etc?

Thanks Mike, my post code is GL3 2DG. I have tried returning the youview box with no joy. the internet interference seems to be vastly improved by changing the channel so that seems to be coincidence. Ive just checked the cable and ensure the connection is sound but no real improvement there. the only thing I can think of is the aerial which hasn't moved but it quite old.
