Graeme, is something being built near your location, or are plants/trees growing near you now? Depending on your dish location, trees and new buildings could be blocking the signal where they weren't before.

Also with the recent high winds, is it possible your dish was moved out of alignment? Has the LNB perhaps been damaged?

Patricia: Some of the channels have moved frequency, you need to clear the channel list on the receiver and rescan for your channels.

Julian Healy: The dish must be aligned correctly, you don't have to use a Sky engineer, you can use a local installer if you want.

gary webster: You can fit a compatible (fitting) LNB to the dish. No signals are blocked by the equipment.

Darwen

Suddenly stopped receiving all BBC channels last night. We have been on Freeview for some time now from Darwen aerial with a rooftop aerial. First said "no signal", when I retuned "no channel found". We have a Samsung idTV. Apparently no problem with transmitter. Reception was fine at lunchtime. Have you any suggestions? Thanks

Sir you are a genius. I would have never considered that a boosted signal would result in "no signal" on the TV after switchover. I turned the gain control to minimum as per your advice and mum has had no further problems. You are Sir indeed 'the main man'! Many Many Thanks !!
