I am in stevenage, herts trying to tune in from an aerial. Postcode is sg2 and want to just get channels 1-5 until I get a set top box. As far as I know our area hasn't gone digital yet, thanks.

I live near Gt Dunmow and prior to the switchover received a reasonable Freeview service with only a few stations not good or not accessable. After the switchover everything improved for about a week, but now I am having problems with one of our TV's - we have three all with Freeview boxes and all using the same aerial. Two pick up the Sudbury Transmitter and are OK but the third gets only Crystal Palace and is terrible - It used to be good ...why?

Les: Check that the problem Freeview box is not on the list of equipment that does not support the 8k mode. If it is, a replacement will be required, unfortunately.

I am puzzled Danny as in London the lowest channel in use is 21. I wonder what equipment you are trying to tune. You sometimes have trouble on CH21 if you are near a police digital transmission mast (approx 400Mhz)

Hi
My telly is just saying 'No Signal'. I've checked to see if the aerial is on (in the attic) and it is... there doesn't appear to be a signal problem from the main transmitter in Bury St Edmunds... Your advice would be very welcome as I can't really afford an engineer!
Many thanks
Kind regards
Clare
