I have an existing satellite dish, an old sky box and newer sky+ box. I no longer subscribe to sky so am receiving freesat.
I have the twin cable (used for sky+) running from the dish to the front of the house where I have the sky+ box and large flatscreen TV , then a single cable runs from there to the back of the house to the older sky box (not sky+) and small TV. Both work fine like this, but we wanted to switch the TV"s round (leaving the sky boxes in their original places, as that is the only way) and having done so the small TV works fine in the front but the larger one says - NO SIGNAL BEING RECEIVED - we have done all the obvious check with the cables, double checked switched the TV"s back again, just to make sure everything works ok (which it did!) but when the bigger TV is attached to the old sky box and the smaller one to the sky+ only the small one works!
Why is this? Can you help?

Helen: You should attach the large TV to the old Sky box with a scart lead. The fact that you are receiving "No Signal" message probably relates to the fact that there is no terrestrial aerial plugged into it. There is no need to scan for channels on the TV (to receive from the Sky box) if you have the devices connected via a scart lead.

kevin green: When you say "since the switch off" what switch off are you referring to?
The other point being, are you using a co-ax lead from the Sky boxes RF2 output to feed to the TV in the conservatory, that is if that's what you are doing? and if so have you tuned the TV in the conservatory into the RF channel used by the Sky box?
Finally, do you have an normal aerial connected directly into the Freeview box, or is it getting the signal via the co-ax from the Sky box? that is with the normal aerial connected into the Sky boxes aerial socket.
What you have mentioned can suggest various possibilities, and the points mentioned have to be known to be able to assist.

Can someone tell me why two of the groups of SAVINGS pages on page 2510 on THE BBC RED BUTTON text services (nationwide) are displaying nonesense and have been for the last two years on all BBC TV platforms FREEVIEW & FREESAT.
The faulty headings on Page 2510 are "INTERNET ACCOUNTS WITHOUT BONUS" & "MONTHLY INTEREST WITHOUT BONUS".
When you complain they just try to fob you off by telling you that you are seeing things. The BBC gets more arrogant as the years go by and it's standards are falling year on year also. Time was when they would correct these minor faults while you were on the phone to them.
