A Walsh: Drama on Freeview is on the same transmitter as ITV3, if you can receive ITV3 OK then try removing your aerial connection followed by carrying out an auto-tune to blank out everything stored, once completed reconnect the aerial and carry out a second auto-tune which hopefully should have rectified the problem.

If though for any reason it hasnt, then you have no option but to carry out a "first time installation", this also known as "factory reset" / "default setting" or some similar sounding name dependant on brand.

Over the past two months my TV has deteriorated. ITV3 is unwatchable and BBC! is painful to watch.
I have all the symptoms listed in the at800.tv website of 4G interference but I am not in a 4G area.
Today I bought an 800Mcs filter but it has not made any difference.
Sony UK Technical Support (who are, of course in the US and 5 hours away) seem unable to solve this.
I appear to be the only house affected.
My postcode is RG29 1PH and tuned to Hannington.
I keep asking: what has changed in the last 2 months?

Briantist. Thanks for the response but I cannot find anything there to help.
My external aerial has withstood gales in the past and the weather has been quite calm recently. Nothing else has been moved or tampered with.
So I repeat my question: what has changed in the past 2 months.
I put this question in the shop where I bought my booster and the man said "4G".
Went home, looked it up and find I have all the symptoms of 4G interference from 4G.
Hence my attempt with the 800 Mc/s filter.

Viv: It's not 4G, that's for sure. The places with it are listed here Do not forget that 4G starting soon in 20 cities and towns really soon | 4G-at-800 | ukfree.tv - 11 years of independent, free digital TV advice

If you're not on the list, there is no 4G.

Have you made a visual inspection of your TV aerial? They can be as damaged by hot weather as wind.

peter johnston: The info you require is detailed on the undermentioned link, although a particular point to note being that you have to be in possession of an active Sky viewing card and which is a once of payment of I believe £25.00.

Please note that you will not be able to record anything on a Sky+ box unless you take out a subscription (around £12.50 per month) purely for the purposes of being able to use this facility "on its own" without access to Sky package channels, but its best to contact Sky for the latest up to date info as they are always changing conditions and you may possibly be able to have those two combined.

However as far as your dish is concerned, this has to mounted outdoors and with a clear view of a S/SE skyline
