By providing a full postcode (such as W1A 1AA), national grid reference (for example SE123456) or latitude, longitude pair (like 54, -0.5) this page will provide a map, terrain plot and detailed information of the location showing the UK and RoI television transmitters that it is possible you receive Freeview, Freeview HD, Youview, BT TV and Saorview from.
(Don't know your postcode? Find it at Post Office Postcode finder).
UK Free TV uniquely shows you transmitter coverage maps, aerial to transmitter terrain plots, the closest 10 mobile phone masts (for possible 5G-at-800 interference) as well as tabulated information (sorted by direction, by received signal strength, by frequency, by service names or by transmitter name).

Hi, we very seldom get any bbc channels, when we retune the box we have to make sure there is no traffic, the weather has to be right or we get nothing, when it's sunny we get no signal, we have paid for an installer to come and check our aerial 3 times now and he says it's all fine, just atmospherics, we live in a dip he says, but I can see above houses around us

Hi. My postcode is TQ14 8RU (Teignmouth) and I cannot tune any Freeview BBC channels using an amplified indoor aerial. I have tried pointing the aerial to the BEACON HILL trans and tuning telly and also tried the Teignmouth transmitter & retuning. All other channels are fine but BBC channels are either missing or heavily pixelated. HELLLLP Please.

PeteP:
Try removing the aerial amplifier, coupling the two coaxial plugs together, you can get such couplers very cheaply. Then check the signals. It is often the case that the signal can be too strong and hence causing either pixelation or apparent loss of signal.

Since the beginning of this month, I have no Freeview signal (via Warfedale box) during the day. At these times I get the bluescreen-of-death and the box remote doesn't work. At some point in the evening, the signal usually returns, with some or all channels, without action from me! I've spoken to Freeview and 800, who apparently haven't a clue. There is no engineering, or weather, so it has got to be prep for 4G.
Why haven't we been warned? And why is it SOOOO hard to get help? SY20 8QB Blaenplwf + Dolybont

Minerva: If your equipment is getting the blue-screen 'no signal', then thats what it means - No Signal. This is almost certainly because of a fault in your own aerial system - it has nothing to do with 4G, etc.
Since it tends to wax and wane, and tends to be best in the evening, I suspect that it is due to a loose connection which gets better when the house is warmer (metal expands when the heating comes on?) or is the result of moisture in a connection, which drys out.
Let us know what you find out

Debbie : Do you have a Top Up TV box? If so, then switch from 14 day EPG (electronic programme guide) to 8 day EPG.
