B Copcutt: Yes, provided that your TV has an "analogue" reception option as well as the normal DVB (Freeview), as the output from the RF sockets on a Sky box are analogue.
By the way, you only require to to use the RF1output for your particular purpose, the two "F" input connectors are necessary to enable you to record one programme whilst viewing another as the Sky box has twin tuners.

That above being said, do check whether your Sky + HD box actually does have an RF out coaxial connection - not all do! It should look like the 'traditional' aerial input socket fitted to most TV sets that takes a 'male' plug or else be an 'inside out' version that takes a female plug.

Every morning we watch the small kitchen TV (which has a little Free-view digibox that plugs directly into a scart socket), the normal picture breaks up and picsilates (sp?) after about 45 minutes. This problem does no correct itself, so we switch off. It has a standard aerial cable and a 'shared' terrestrial aerial (facing towards Oxford) on the roof of the two story building, with no obstructions. Our Post code is SN3 5BG. The other resident on this shared aerial has no Free-view problems at all.
Please advise what I can do. Have tried an aerial booster, but still the same problem.
Would appreciate any help. Thanks for reading,

Bill Wardhaugh: Is it possible that your digital box has developed a fault? Could you try it on the other resident's aerial lead or borrow a small digital TV and connect it to your aerial lead to see where the fault lies?

Pixilation you describe can be caused by a number of possibilities. How are you 'sharing' your aerial signal between two TVs/Digiboxes? Are you using a passive coaxial splitter (does not have any power applied) or an active splitter (has power supplied to it)? Apassive splitter will reduce the amount of signal feeding the TVs/digiboxes and that your distance from Oxford the signal may not always be strong enough at the sets. If you are using an active splitter, these often increase the signal strength and could be a little too strong. When it is 'misbehaving' can you please check the signal strength and quality - but do not retune. You TV and/or Digibox user manual will tell you how to take those readings. When you have them, please post back here and the contributors to this site will likely try to help you further.
I note you live close to Dorcan Way, I used to live in Sywell Road, Coleview. I had a good aerail system that supplied both Mendip (HTV West) and Oxford (Central South ITV) signals and Oxford was definitely the poorer signal.

Josephine: If you are referring to a black Sky+ HD box then the card is hidden under a drop down flap located on the front lower right hand side of the box.

Hi I have got skyfreeview an card aswell.
I have done everything but it says ( no satellite signal is received.
Please unplug your box from mains and plug back in and wait 5 mins and then try again.)
I have done that so any times
Changed cables but still gives same error
Please can anyone help???

- your box on another satellite dish?
- another box on your dish?
- phoning Sky. They help even if you don't subscribe.
