I often record programmes from True Entertainment to view at a later date, only to be frustrated when towards the end of the film that Part 2 will be shown either the following day or week. Why can't it be advertised when a story is in 2 parts, so that we know in advance and can set the recording to link up to part 2? My husband & I are sick of seeing half of an interesting film and unable to see the conclusion because we weren't told it was in 2 parts.

True Entertainment ran the entire series of 'The Knock' about 18 months-two years ago. Is it likely to be re-shown in the near future?

I saw part of a film which was shown on channel 142 on Sunday evening but missed the end. It was the story of a woman charged with the murder of her alcoholic and abusive husband. Is there anyway I can find out the name of the film?

Brian Davis: First of all Brian it is important to point out that this website is NOT the website of the TV Channel True Entertainment. The True Entertainment channel is owned by CSC Media Group Limited which is a subsidiary of Sony.
The website for all of the True channels is at True movies
Sadly, True Entertainment like a lot of smaller channels are not required by the broadcasting regulator OFCOM to provide subtitles. Most of the content shown on True Entertainment are old TV movies / TV Series from the U.S.A. many of which may never have had subtitles in the first place. It would cost the TV Channels a lot of money to add their own subtitles.
It would require a change in the law for them to be forced to provide subtitles - have you thought of contacting your MP about the lack of subtitles on many TV channels?
Another avenue you might be interested in pursuing is contacting the BBC2 programme "See Hear" which campaigns on issues effecting deaf and partially deaf people in the UK. They may be able to take up the problem direct with the broadcaster on your behalf.

Steve M: I think that the film you caught the end of on Sunday, 9th November was the 1995 TV Movie "The Unspoken Truth". Based on the true story of Brianne Hawkins. Starring Lea Thompson as the wife, Twin Peaks star James Marshall as Clay, the abusive husband and Robert Englund (of Freddy Kruger fame). Apparently, the film is available on DVD in the UK.

I have been looking forward to watching M*A*S*H for many years - just by chance a few months ago I came across true entertainment about seven o'clock in the evening and couldn't believe my luck when there it was hour after hour each evening of this terrific programme. Until, that is, I think it was about a week ago when I found that episodes that had been aired only the previous week are being repeated again. This has happened, as I say, for about the last week. Is this the end of M*A*S*H and you are winding down to take it off the air or can we look forward to some more of the unseen episodes soon. Best regards Richard

Richard Hughes: This website is purely for information purposes relating technical and other issues connected with reception, and is in no way connected with the makers of the programme channels seen mentioned.
You would normally be able to contact True Entertainment directly via the undermentioned link, however if you open the link you will see a message stating that they are in the process of updating their website.
