Not showing in my EPG. Is it being broadcast on vertical Polarisation or just Horizontal please? We switched to vertical to get over the low power issues on Horizontal as all channels full power.

Andrew: HP only, as is the recently introduced COM7 HD multiplex. Crazy.

That's Solent TV, although already started part time only in evenings up until midnight, and not broadcasting full time until just before christmas or the new year (not sure which) are missing a huge promotion opportunity by not running future program trailers. They are in stark contrast to London Live which launched with a fanfare back in March and they seem to be lacking in any kind of audience interaction.

There are two programmes in the next 7 days which may be of interesst to you. I am the founder and Patron of SWVG, the Southampton and Winchester Visitors Group, which supports asylum seekers in Southampon. Esther Ranzen has visited us and shown an interest in the group. On Sunday, Dec. 7, Vanessa REdgrave is leading a performance which will include the singer, Jennifer Wiltsie, her daughter in law, and Mike Outram, composer and leading guitarist. It will be a fantastic evening. Vanessa is willing to be interviewed and I can provide details, if you phone me at 01962-852028.
Secondly, tomorrow night, Monday Dec. 1, SWVG have their AGM, at which a small group of asylum seekers and refugees are putting on a short play. It might be possible to film this provided no names are used, and you could interview various members of the SWVG committee.
I hope this will be of interest to you, and to your viewers, as it provides a wonderful counterbalance to some of the toxic talk about immigration.

Dave Lindsay: well I'm not going to waste money on a "Toast rack" Aerial just for them! I can receive everything else on my tiny 7 element aerial. VP.

I suspect your comments are not meant for this website. This is intended for assistance with technical problems, mainly relating to reception difficulties and associated problems with the Freeview and Freesat services with some additional items covering Sky services.
I suspect you wanted to communicate with UK TV whose website is at

Only watched the channel for the first time today and that was the news programme at 17.30. Hate to say this, but it was all a bit ameteurish and reminded me of the Southampton TV local channel which I was a part of back almost 10 years ago. No need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to programming and more importantly, advertising which was my speciality in the old station. If you want to email me please do so and I will give you my thoughts.

Do you advertise and cover local events? The Women's Institute Centenary Baton is coming to Fareham on Friday16th January 2015. It will arrive at Westbury Manor Museum in a Classic Morris Minor Convertible and be welcomed by the Mayor of Fareham at 10.10am. We would like TV coverage of this event as the Baton has had on its journey around England and Wales. The baton will leave us at about 11am to continue its journey by weird and wonderful means of transport. It will arrive at the Royal Albert Hall for our Centenary AGM on Thursday 4th June 2015.
