I see the old ch 200 on freesat that was BBC news is now BBC News HD, and ch 212 is now 'ordinary' BBC news, must be going to replace this something else as surely no point in transmitting both?

Malcolm Derrick: they need to transmit in SD for the 10 million boxes without HD!

Oh so a box without HD can't convert the signal to show ordinary SD? I BBC2 has also swapped channels SD and HD.

trying to help Little Mia , she has a rear condition of In 2007, Wayne and Louise' daughter Dannielle was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with severe arrhrythmias. Sadly, in 2008 Dannielle lost her battle to this disease at the age of 9. Less than three months after Dannielle's passing, Louise gave birth to a boy and girl. Troy and Mia.
Troy was fine but Mia was born with a cleft palate and was also diagnosed with shortening of the upper and lower limbs, they were both tested to see if either of them had the heart condition..It was discovered that Mia was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Just like their daughter Dannielle had. Little Mia's life consists of medication and hospital visits for tests. A recent MRI has shown her disease has progressed and that she may only have another 3 years left. The family is devastated, Mia is the second child of theirs to have this disease.
Mia's has one wish. To go on a holiday.
We want to make that happen for her!

How do i report Tansmitter problems to the BBC ? It seems BBC News HD (31/107)) is on low power. The channel is constantly 'blocking' and disappears from time to time. I've checked the signal strength on my tv and it shows signal strength around 20% and quality around 60% All other BBC stations show 100% . I live in a strong signal area with good almost line of sight to Winter Hill.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mike: Thats HD channel in on Com 7, so if that was a rubbish signal, then logically so would a load of other channels. I'd check signal stength on other channels/coms - if its too high, then the signal stength might go from very high to very low, etc. A postcode would help.

Mike: formby isn't the best for com 7, it does have slight drop off so if your aerial is old and grouped to cd you could have problems. I did an aerial the other day in formby and com 7 was low but good enough to work without problems. If you want me to look at it check my past posts and you will find my number.

Mike: Sorry, but my budget barely stretches to a basic radio, so high end hifi is more of a distant dream than reality! I'm on serveral forums, but none for hi end hifi.
