Pauline: Vintage TV is no longer available on Freesat via the EPG listings. However it can still be viewed on a Freesat box / TV if manually tuned in with the device set on its "non Freesat" operating mode and entering the following details.

Frequency - 11261Ghz
Polarisation - H (or Auto)
Symbol rate - 27.500
FEC - 2/3.

Paul Beales: Vintage TV is NOT YET on Freeview, but it is coming to Freeview SHORTLY. Apparently there is a way of getting it if you have FreeSAT. One of the other posts on Vintage TV on this website describes exactly how you do this. it involves a MANUAL tune using these details:-

Satellite manual tuning
Astra 2G
Frequency: 11265
Polarisation: Horizontal
Symbol Rate: 27500
FEC: 2/3
Service ID: 52180

Forthcoming new service:
Freeview Channel 86

When Vintage TV goes on air on Freeview it WILL BE on Channel 86, but at the moment Freeview Channel 86 is QVC+1 until Vintage TV takes over the channel shortly. Hope this helps,

Richard, Norwich.

Richard Cooper: Vintage TV launched on Freeview this morning. If you are still seeing QVC+1 on 86 then you should retune. Vintage TV is on the COM7 multiplex, which requires a TV or box capable of receiving HD channels. If you already receive BBC News HD on 107 you will be able to receive Vintage TV on 86 but may need to retune if your TV/box isn't displaying the new channel.

Kevin: Hi, Kevin. Are you sure you're using either an HDTV or a Freeview HD box? This is because Vintage TV is on the multiplex called 'COM7', which requires a high definition tv receiver to pick it up and decode the signal. I should also ask you whether you normally receive a strong signal from Bluebell Hill? I ask this because COM7 is sometimes transmitted at a lower power and/or from a transmitting aerial lower down the transmitter mast than other multiplexes. Richard, Norwich.

Watched for almost an hour and every song from the 1990s. Disappointed as I thought this would be at least a few "vintage" records from the 50s, 60s and 70s rather than yet another 1990s / 2000s channel of which there are many .
