This coverage was improved in 1998 with the advent of digital television in the United Kingdom allowing satellite and digital terrestrial television viewers to also view the service. Hi, new to freeview - (Waltham transmitter)
On BBC News24 using cable it switches to East midlands News & Weather / Traffic
Now on FreeView all we get is London?
Is there anyway to get East Midlands news on BBC 24 News???

Miketf: As far as I'm aware, the 'local' news for News 24 is London. If you want East Midlands, then its BBC1.

MikeB: There is no local news on BBC News. When it's the sustaining feed (such as on BBC One HD) it has extra sports updates.

I live in Kidlington, Oxford. I have stopped getting Freeview signals for BBC News 24 HD on ch 107 and Home on ch 25. I do still get quite a few other Digital channels on Freeview. I would like to know what could be the cause ?

R de Silva: Both of those channels changed frequency at the Oxford transmitter on 1st March. You should be able to restore them by retuning.
