The current high pressure is causing lots of problems. It was werong to retune and that has caused the loss of so many channels. You will need to keep retuning until all the channels return - and then do not retune when any channels disappear.

You should not have retuned at all. The recent high pressure system over the UK has caused a lot of problems, like yours. You will how have to retune again - perhaps doing it manually would be best. Use the Digital UK Coverage Checker, in the Detailed mode, to check the channels beimg used to transmit the multiplexes.

Christopher Anthony: If you provide a full postcode we will be able to see a prediction of which DAB stations should be available at your location. The BBC Nations, D1 National and local Norfolk multiplexes are all broadcast from the Great Yarmouth transmitter, so unless you are in a dead zone you should get something. Did the hifi unit not come with some sort of wire aerial for DAB?

Digital radio in Horsham, West Sussex is appalling, the signal is variable but generally awful especially with Gold. I have heard it is now Gold Plus or something but cannot find it. Surely there is something can be done about all this in this age of communications?

I can't find any reports of transmitter problems, either on the Rosemarkie page here, Freeview or the BBC.
I suppose that there might have been a service interruption that hasn't yet been reported. Have you got your signals back?
There's no Planned Engineering listed for Rosemarkie, nor is it part of any retune.

You shouldn't have any problems getting the BBC National multiplex on 12B, or the Commercial multiplex on 11C which carries BBC Newcastle. These being transmitted from the Sunderland transmitter located near the Hendon Industrial Estate.
There is also Commercial services broadcast from this transmitter, you should be able to get these as well.
