Will etv be available in Kirkcaldy as we use the same transmitter as Edinburgh?

charles carrington: Looking at the "radiation pattern" on the Local TV on Freeview "radiation patterns" update | Local TV | ukfree.tv - 11 years of independent, free digital TV advice page, the transmitter won't be broadcasting ETV in your direction.

Would be interested to hear from "charles" again as to whether he gets this channel.
I'm in Glenrothes and I don't see it. but since the radiation pattern does show some green creeping in other directions which might mean some signal in kirkcaldy

I have started receiving the new local tv multiplex this week, the signal is about70% strength but the signal quality is weak.

Anybody have any idea when ETV is starting? It's meant to be today, according to the info in the main Craigkelly site.
I'm in Stenton, near Dunbar, about 100m above sea level, looking out over the Forth. I almost have a line of sight to Craigkelly, which is about 25 miles away, on a bearing of about 288 degrees; i.e. I'm ESE of the mast.
I'm getting two channels on that MUX (rf30) with a strong signal. But there's no sign of ETV at 17:05 today - ten minutes ago as I write this. Maybe they've revised the start-up date and haven't told anybody. (NT621742)

I'm in Kennoway and I'm line of site to Craigkelly and am receiving MUX (rf30) with 3 channels being received at a strength of approx. 35% with a constantly variable quality of between 30% and 80%. If the transmission pattern is directed to Edinburgh then I must be getting a back scatter from the transmitter. I also have good signals from Blackhill and I have to use a small internal antenna instead of my HiGain one when I do a retune to ensure I only receive Craigkelly. ETV is not fully operational as yet and is showing as "starting soon".

I'm now getting the 'Starting soon' trail too. Signal quality is 10/10, which is actually better than the higher-powered transmission of STV from Craigkelly. I've even seen a friend of mine in the trail!
