My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound o
To deal with the problem you must clear the channel list completely and then rescan - if your box has it in the menus, please the 'installation menu' to do an initial scan or a reset to factory settings or First Time Installation. You MUST delete the entire existing list of channels. On most boxes this technique can be also be used:
Try this:
1) unplug your Freeview box (or idTV) from the mains;
2) unplug the aerial from the Freeview box by disconnecting the cable from the 'RF in' socket;
3) wait 30 seconds;
4) plug Freeview box (or idTV) mains back in;
5) do a complete scan for channels - it will fail without the aerial. (This may be in the installation or initialization menu, and is distinct from any 'add channels option'). Once this is done your channel line up should be empty;
6) reinsert aerial by reconnecting to the 'RF in' connection;
7) do a complete scan for channels again.
The Freeview channel line-up provided by six "multiplexes" - each of which carry five or more TV channels, radio channels, text services and EPG data. In this diagram each ROW represents a multiplex. If you are still missing a whole multiplex (ie everything on the row) you may need to replace your aerial with a wideband type, purchase a larger aerial or you may have interference from a VCR, games console, Sky Digibox or similar.

Please provide a full post code so we can examine the signal reception conditions at your location and which of the over 1,100 transmitters you are likely to be using.

Thanks for the post code. We can now see that your best transmitter is at Whitworth, see Coverage Checker - Detailed View for details of expected reception.
That is a Freeview Light transmitter providing BBCA, D3&4 and BBCB (HD) multiplexes only. There is no reason why the transmitter should not be providing its normal services at night. Perhaps you have a powered splitter that is connected to the mains supply via a timer?

It's not my website, it is run by Briantist and only he can maintain and manage the site. It is perfectly easy to use and the request for a post code is because there are over 1,100 transmitters around the country and to answer any reception questions it is essential that we contributors know which transmitter(s) are available. It's perfectly logical really.

It's also worth considering if there is any equipment that comes on during those times which might be generating interference.

If you are referring to True Entertainment & the Sony Crime channel, they have been moved by Sony to local multiplexes. If you don't receive any local channel on LCN 7 or 8, then you won't get them. See True Entertainment | free and easy for full information about the changes and how to complain.

I wonder if any changes were made to the way HD channels are broadcast on the 12 September 2019 between 5 and 7pm. Myself and several others are getting out of sync audio on all HD channels affecting only Samsung TVs since that time. No firmware updates or other changes were made to the TVs prior to the issues starting. I am getting my signal from the Hemel Hempstead transmitter.

I have seen the symptoms you describe on other than Samsung TVs as well but not recently. It's not very common and doesn't seem to persist. IIRC the most common times I've seen it is with some pre-recorded programmes and is probably due to poor editing!
I once experienced it on an LG TV where it occurred after a firmware update and a further update was needed to resolve the issue.
If your issue persists and it did not occur as a result of any firmware change, you could try contacting the Freeview Advice line 0808-100-0288 though I don't necessarily hold out much hope unless a lot of other people are reporting the same! If you know others having the same issue, they should report it themselves as well. Otherwise try contacting BBC engineering (if it's affecting BBC channels).
Obviously if it occurs on any set after a firmware update, contact the manufacturer.
