I am trying to watch Alaska the last Frontier. I need to record some episodes. the problem I have is that different series being shown on the same channel and on sister channels.

This does make trying it hard to follow the what's happening

Tony: Are you using Freeview? If so, please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitters are available at your location, your predicted signal strength and where you are in relation to them, etc.

Tony:

On Freeview, Dmax is on the ArqB/COM6 multiplex, see Channel listings | Freeview
As StevensOnln1 has said if you provide a postcode he can check what transmitter(s) & multiplexes you might receive.

Quest is on the SDN multiplex at LCN12 on Freeview. Maybe your set didn't correctly store the channels after your retune. Try the following - unplug the aerial, then carry out a full automatic retune which should clear all previous tuning as no channels will be found. Switch the set off for 10 minutes. Plug the aerial back in, switch on and repeat the full retune and hopefully all channels will be correctly restored.

Don't carry this out if any multiplexes you normally receive ok are pixellating or have no signal as your transmitter might be having planned engineering. Wait until the signals are normal.

DMAX is on the ArqB/COM6 multiplex. I don't remember when there was a Dave+1, but there's not one on Freeview at this time.
For which channels are on which multiplex see Channel listings | Freeview

If you can get and still get the other channels on COM6/ArqB then try a retune as follows - unplug the aerial and carry out an automatic retune which should clear memory of all previous tuning as no channels will be found. Plug the aerial back in and repeat the retune which will hopefully restore all channels.
Otherwise, without a full post code we can't advise what the predicted reception is likely to be at your location.
