What a disappointment to discover that Panasonic are not interested in a firmware upgrade to resolve the issue. I used to be a Panasonic fan, but these days I find that most of the "major" brands have become a little too complacent when it comes to slightly older models.
Some good advice there from the Mike/s especially not installing a set too high up - personally I'm no fan of wall mounting anyway.
If/when you do go down the road of a new set, then I agree with MikeB about upgrading screen size especially if your current set is 32", then go for at least a 43" and it must be 4K - if you have the space (and cash!) then a 49", but you might want to go bigger still for the real cinema experience :)
In view of many reviews in the last couple of years I would take a serious look at LG sets. IMHO they are doing a better job than Samsung.
Whatever you do, enjoy your viewing.

I think you might find that some of the "updates" on individual transmitter pages may well be the "final" rather than "current" allocations. eg. see my comment on the Mendip page.

34 is currently free as is 39, but note SDN/COM4 moves to C33 in 2020.
You can check channel usage on Digital UK - Coverage checker and put in your postcode which will show you what transmitters you can receive and their current channels.
I would try to use channels above C56 unless there's a good reason why you cannot (eg. a strong local mobile phone mast using those frequencies).

Putting your postcode in Digital UK - Coverage checker shows you should have adequate signal for COMs 7&8 on C55&56. However, note C55&56 are now used as Single Frequency Networks (SFN) for COMs7&8 and you may be getting interference from the Crystal Palace Transmitter.
I note that there's only a small difference in the bearing for the two transmitters, but you are so very close to Bluebell Hill. To me it suggests that the aerial installed is inadequate - it's not directional enough or hasn't been aligned correctly. In either case you need to do as MikeP has suggested and complain to the complex management. As he's said systems can develop faults, the aerial may have moved or for some reason not been installed correctly.

I suggest that as the Engineering work this week lists the effect as "Possible weak signal" then this could well persist overnight.
It could be work on the transmitters themselves rather than the aerial system but that also might depend on the precise nature of any aerial work.

It appears that the listing above is far from accurate. Some transmitter pages are currently giving the final 2020 channels as current, but this one is all over the place. At present, the best place to get correct channel information is Digital UK - Coverage checker and put in your postcode to list available transmitters.
Current channels are BBCA 50, D3&4 59, BBCB 54-, SDN(COM4) 58, ARQA(COM5) 49, ARQB(COM6) 37, COM7 55, COM8 31, various Local muxes on 56, 21, 40 (if you are close enough to the transmitter).
Retune events are due in the Q4 2019 for one local mux UHF56 to UHF24, others events are in Q1 2020 BBCA to UHF32 & COM8 to UHF56, and in Q2 2020 D3&4 to UHF34, BBCB to UHF35, SDN(COM4) to UHF29 & ARQA to UHF31.
So the final UHF channels in 2020 will be 32, 34, 35, 29, 31, 37, 55, 56 and local muxes 24, 21, 40. If you don't have a wideband or T band aerial, if you aren't getting satisfactory reception on the lower UHF channels you may need to change it.

Are you still having this problem? Sometimes it can take a while for the 7-day EPG to re-populate.
If you still have the problem, I'd ring Freeview 0808 100 0288 and ask them if there's a problem with the EPG data from Sandy Heath. But note, there is engineering work at Sandy Heath this week with possible weak signal from time to time.
