There is planned engineering work at many of the West Country transmitters and relays this week with "Possible weak signal" or "Possible service interruptions" depending on which transmitter.

Both of you should have no trouble receiving the Carmel transmitter after retuning BUT if you do not have a Group T/Wideband aerial (old group was C/D) then you may struggle with some of the multiplexes on the low channels.
If you don't have cable or satellite the you may be eligible for free help, See Important changes to Freeview TV signals | Freeview
"Important changes to Freeview
Changes are being made to the way some channels are broadcast on Freeview. You may need to retune your TV equipment to continue watching programmes when these take place in your area. Find out more below.
You can watch videos about retuning on our website. If you need help with this or retuning doesn't restore your channels, see our FAQs or call the Freeview Advice Line free on 0808 100 0288. You may be eligible for free in-home support, including aerial work if needed."

For goodness sake, this is just perpetuating a trivial point. Perhaps he lives just over the border and gets his reception from Strabane!
You and I (as a result of your first post) have made it clear that if Bart is talking about Saorview reception, he'll have to look elsewhere, perhaps Saorview | Coverage
Checker
As he hasn't given a postcode, neither of us can say if there will or will not be any "Reception Change" entries on the coverage checkers for his location.
As far as I can ascertain, there are no changes to Saorview transmitters in 2019, so if the answers we've provided don't answer his question, he'll need to be more specific.

It's possible COM6 is still off air - there was a suggestion earlier (around mid-day) that the whole transmitter was still off-air at that time.
If you have had no joy by the morning, I suggest you ring the Freeview Advice Line free on 0808 100 0288 and ask them what is going on at Carmel. If they don't know ask them to find out from Arqiva! If they still give BS ask to speak to a manager.

There is engineering work going on on a lot of welsh transmitters this week and a major retune event at some including Carmel. Hpefully it will have settled down by the time you read this.

Yes roger it has. If you put your postcode into Digital UK - Coverage checker it will tell you the predicted coverage of all multiplexes at your location.

Two thoughts come to mind, there is Engineering work at Tacolneston this week with "Possible weak signal" & as 107 is on COM7, now a SFN, with the current weather propagation it could be interference from other transmitters. Is reception of 109, 110, 113 & otyher COM7 programmes OK, if so, very odd as MikeB says. See http://www.digitaluk.co.u…ngs.
